Ihenacho Chinweuba, 27, Uche Enuosa, 33, and cannabis weighing 3,542.25kg, were intercepted by officers and men of the NDLEA in Ogun State, along Odeda axis.
The truck carrying biscuits and cheese balls was found to contain 295 big bags of cannabis.
The cannabis was neatly arranged in the inner part of the long containerized truck while the outer part was filled with more than 300 cartons of Biscuits and Cheese Balls to cleverly evade arrest.
Enuosa, a plumber, blamed his involvement on lack of job and the need to travel home this festive season for the end of year celebration. Chinweuba said he got involved so as to be able to buy Xmas gifts for his wife and children…..
